Bangladesh Caterers Association efficiently carrying out its activities to lead some 12000 Bangladeshi restaurants. These activities include:

i. To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or other wise acquire real or personal property and rights or privileges, and to construct, maintain and alter buildings or erections.

ii. To sell, let, mortgage, dispose of or turn to account all or any of the properties or assets of the Association.

iii. To undertake and execute any charitable trusts which the Association may lawfully undertake.

iv. To borrow or raise money on such terms and on such security as may be thought fit. 

v. To invest the moneys of the Association not immediately required for its purposes in or upon such investments, securities or properties as may be thought fit, subject nevertheless to such conditions and such consents as may for the time being be imposed or required by law and subject also as hereinafter provided. 

vi. To establish and support or aid in the establishment and support of any charitable associations or institutions and to subscribe or guarantee money for charitable purposes. 

Members of BCA are trying their best to safeguard their future by reviving and revitalizing the industry. The BCA National Executive Council laid the following programs by the approvals of the members:

a) Diversify and decentralize: NEC of BCA nationwide for better re-presentation and participation.

b)  Launching "Bangladesh Cuisine": Recognition of Bangladeshi Cuisine nationally and internationally has been achieved through the launching ceremony at the House of Commons on the 20th June 1994 .

c)  Establishment of a Training Institute: Namely "Bangladesh Caterers Institute" for research, training, Education and development for the industry.

d) Establishment of Caterers Cash & Carry: A limited company project to ensure quality low price inputs and enable the members a chance to get entry into the corporate business sector.

e) In addition to the above programs it also undertaking followings:

1. Caterers Bhaban: Some of the dedicated members of the BCA has managed to buy a freehold office building "Bangladesh Caterers Bhaban" at West London , 403 Harrow Road , London , W9 3NF . Tel: 020 8969 3765.

2. Caterers Institute:  In its agenda the present management committee has given top priority to set up a Bangladeshi Caterers Institution.
